Born in Trento, my lifelong passions are Art History, teaching, and writing. After graduating from the Linguistic High School—where I had the opportunity to study art history in English—I earned my degree at the DAMS program in Bologna. After winning a one‑year scholarship through the Erasmus program to attend courses at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, I specialized to obtain secondary‑school teaching qualification (SSIS), completing my teaching internship at a Classical High School in Modena. I have been teaching art history for seventeen years.
Previously I worked at MART in Rovereto as an educational officer; I also taught adult education in evening classes at several public schools in Trentino and carried out volunteer work at a local cultural club, where I served as a board member organizing artistic events. The exhibitions I curated include “Paolo Vallorz. Il bosco ci parla,” “Art without Borders. The Soul of the World in Sculpture” (in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna), and the “Festival of Creativity” (in collaboration with the cultural volunteer association “Cantare suonando”). I have collaborated with the Free Academy of Fine Arts in Brescia as a lecturer in Modern and Contemporary Art History.
During the summer I teach at the Dolomit Summer School in Torbole, organizing art‑history courses in English and guided tours of the area for American university students. I collaborated with Mondadori Educational to produce CLIL teaching materials related to the art‑history curriculum for lower secondary school. I later obtained CLIL teaching certification after attending the IPRASE course and a course in Exeter.
I dedicate this blog to you so we never stop seeking and promoting Beauty everywhere, and because, as is said, “…it is Art, Beauty, it is Art… and you can’t do anything about it.”
