Le cose che consideriamo belle sono tali perch\u00e9 vissute spontaneamente e non perch\u00e9 giudicate tali attraverso un ragionamento. Il bello \u00e8 l\u2019oggetto di un piacere senza alcun interesse, i giudizi estetici infatti sono contemplativi e totalmente disinteressati. Questi i concetti espressi nella Critica del Giudizio di Kant che ci spinge ad educare alla bellezza attraverso la ripetuta contemplazione delle cose belle. L\u2019estetica dunque quale riflessione teorico-filosofica avente per oggetto l\u2019arte, il bello e la conoscenza sensibile. Un percorso che si snoda tra arte e filosofia, a partire dalle teorie dell\u2019estetologo Baumgarten, attraverso l\u2019idea di bellezza della Grecia arcaica e classica da Omero ai Pitagorici. Attraverso lo studio del bello l\u2019arte incontra la filosofia: con Platone, ad esempio, il bello entra a far parte del campo della metafisica ma le due discipline hanno vissuto anche momenti di scontro. Ricordiamo a proposito la pi\u00f9 celebre condanna filosofica dell\u2019arte mimetica pronunciata da Platone per arrivare al pieno riscatto dell\u2019arte grazie al contributo di Aristotele.
